VDZ Racing – ELE 2011 – KP2 Asten – Bad Crash with Lucky Crowd

When braking for the corner at approx. 130 km/h something went wrong with the left/right brake balance in the back. Just managed to miss the crowd and trees before hitting the ditch with the right front corner of the car, spun around and hit with the right back side and got launched. After a full second of airtime we touched down hitting a “pig back” concrete block (like the ones you see after we stop) and broke it out of the tarmac moving it about half a meter. Paul and me got out fine thanks to the safety precautions in the rally car.
